I didn’t attend the last seminar. Because I need to finish all of my unfinished work at home. 

This seminar is very annoying. We went to school before 12nn, we don’t want to get late in the seminar. And then the organizer of the seminar told us that they change the time of seminar it will be at 1pm. So we wait..

at exactly 1pm we went back to AVR, we enter the room and the organizer told us again that the speaker will be late. So we wait…

The speaker arrived at 2 in the afternoon. I lost my appetite in because we waited him for so long. 

We talked about PR (Public Relation)

“Public relations involves the cultivation of favorable relations for organizations and products with its key publics through the use of a variety of communications channels and tools.

“THE FOUR P’s OF MARKETING

Product: goods and services, whether bottled water or car insurance. This ‘P’ includes a product’s design and development, as well as its branding and packaging. 

Place (or distribution): where a product or service is offered for sale, and how it gets there. This is how the product gets moved from the producer to the consumer.  

Price: at what charge the product/service is offered for sale.

Promotion: this how you let the consumers know about your product for sale. This is done through advertising, personal selling, sales promotions, direct marketing, and publicity.

The speaker spoke very fast. I don’t know if she was running out of time. But she explained her report very well. I don’t know her name, but I remember she is working online because she needs to take care of her children. She was recently the marketing manager of SM Calamba and change to a new company. 

I spent alot of my time her school rather than our own home. Although I don’t have any class, I’m still present in school because of some project I need to do. But I don’t complain about that. HAHA!

Our Experiences before, during and after the Interview..

Before…

•  Our first problem: The first company we contact, cancelled our appointment.
• Second Problem: And because they cancelled our appointment, we also cancelled the vehicle we rented.
• Good thing: Louina’s group allowed our group to join their interview at Cutting Edge in Makati. 
• Third Problem: Our appointment at Cutting Edge was 3pm in the afternoon, we already had our vehicle we need, but the driver we need is not around. And our plan is we need to leave Calamba at 12nn. But my aunt had hard time finding another driver. So 2pm we are traveling to Makati.
• Good thing: As I remember we reached Greenbelt Mansion at 2:49pm. Thank God there was no heavy traffic.

During..

• We have full of energy touring each offices.
• And every offices, all we can say are.. “wow!” “ooh!” “galing naman.” gusto ko dito magtrabaho.” ang galing naman.”

What is CAS for me?

I can’t tell so much about CAS. But as I notice they treat each other as one family. They bond together, They greet each other differently. I do not know if I’m just the one who notice it. But it is really different. HAHAHA! The professors are nice. 

I’m so lucky to have them as my groupmates Carrie Pampolina and Jeric Danal. Jeric is always included in my group since last year. So I already knew his flaws about the strategy in reporting. And we are always having an argument about the reporting. I know that I’m not really good at everything but he always catch me whenever happens in our reporting. Even though we always argue when it comes to reporting in the end we are still friends. And he still choose me to be one of his group mates inspite of my flubdub. And I’m thank him for that. And for Carrie, this is the first time to be with her in the group, she is a responsible president in our class and she is also a responsible group mate. She’s always on the go. She always give her best in everything. I hope she is not angry with me because of my mistakes during the reporting.  And for me being with them is something that I don’t regret . I had so much fun being with them, In everything we do, we do not forget to enjoy what we’re doing. And feel sorry for my mistakes. And I think I did nothing for our group. - rox

I’m a irregular student, and most of my schedule is not accurate with my group projects I need to adjust my time for my group mates cause its my responsibility to help them as one of their group mates for this so called group project. I won’t mind who will be my new group mates, as long as they’re cooperative and not selfish . And it’ll be much better if they respects other opinions. And they’re professional about what we are to do with our incoming projects.

I only have few plans for this loong weekend..

2. Go to mall to buy ballpens and notebook
3. watch video tutorial
4. update my personal blog
5. eat eat eat
6. sleep sleep sleep.

I wasn’t able to attend the seminar last saturday because of the heavy rain, and my body wants to stay longer in my bed.

It is better to work, with a organize things, rather than the messy one, we can concentrate from what we do. like in business, we should be organize to avoid the distorted work. Thank God, we already have technology and internet connection to make our business more productive and easy to access. More people use internet whether it is business, for education, socialization etc.from that from that we can easily advertise our products or the business. Like in Facebook, millions of people have account on Facebook, people can notice it or they will response to it. 

The computer technology, needless to say, has changed the face of the world. Computers can store, organize and manage huge amounts of data. They can process large amounts of information. Computers have given rise to the software industry, one of the most progressive industries of the world. The Internet that seeded from the computer networking concepts is the most effective communication platform and the largest information base existing today. 

Technology also increases the possibility of crime. A tech-savvy employee can embezzle funds and make it difficult for the company to trace. Hackers can access personal and financial data of customers who trust the company to keep their information safe. Businesses must spend time and money developing safeguards against these events.
